Extreme temperatures and moisture accelerate corrosion in pipeline infrastructure, especially beneath traditional insulation. This paper explores how advanced coating systems, such as dual-layer fusion-bonded epoxy and thermal insulative coatings (TICs), can mitigate corrosion, eliminate corrosion under insulation (CUI), and retain process heat. These solutions help reduce maintenance costs, extend asset life, and deliver environmental and energy savings, offering a more efficient and sustainable alternative to conventional insulation methods.
